In my dream last night,
I went with my Boyfriend to a Walgreen's drug store.
He sat me down on a stool in an isle and gave me an amazing haircut.
He left my hair long on top and shaved it all underneath.
It felt light & liberating.
Then we went to a shop where I was given a poisonous,
yet gentle, skinny black snake.
I was told to put it in my pocket & go to a HUGE indoor pool.
When I got to the pool, there was a water polo match going on.
I threw the poisonous, skinny, black snake into the water.
It swam around all the swimmers.
It bit several of them.
They all screamed and swam off.
I left the snake in the water & watched it swirl around in the pool.
It looked so elegant and mystifying.
Then, I woke up, breathing heavy & kicking my bed sheets around.
